Hey sweet Darlings,
Our hearts and prayers are with you, hoping no one got you toooo badly on the day of wickedness and dark magic that is April Fools day. We survived mostly unscathed, as we have a very strict NO TRICKS policy around the theater, but we know not everyone can be so lucky. Just the tangential fooling energy effected us, so we can’t imagine how it would be to live with a person who puts soap on your toothbrush and cling wrap on a toilet. April Fools day: It’s NOT ok.
On April Fools Eve (whilst the Devil was preparing his tote of trickery) we had the ABSOLUTE PLEASURE of watching JENNY SLATE put on one of our favorite shows ever. Humanity, absurdity, warmth, sensitivity, and also some really gross yucky stuff. A perfect cocktail. Unfortunately she had to cancel last night’s show, but we’re hard at work trying to reschedule it. If you have an opportunity to see her anywhere, take it. Saturday’s Dynasty Tonight! was yet another dreamy one, the band keeps getting better and better (we’ve added some horns! Game changer!) and VanJam made a pact to work on some choreography before the next show. So in a month we’ll be professional dancers just fyi. Capezio outlet store, watch out! We need some sheer dance skirts and lyrical shoes STAT. Maybe we’ll become professional dancers and have to move to New York City because that’s where the REAL dance scene is. We’ll keep you posted on that, but in the meantime let our challenge encourage yourself to learn something new! You’re never too old to embarrass and delight yourself. I mean, we’re never too old because we’re actually very, very young (so we’re just sort of using that as a general phrase) but it applies to most people directly.

TONIGHT! MONDAY, 7:30PM: No But I'm Definitely in a Better Place Than I've Been in a Long Time The amazing MICHAEL J. FELDMAN is taking the stage again for his acclaimed and insane piece in which a raging narcissist attempts to put up a one man show about his dog as the world is ending. We love this show, and we know you will too. Directed by TOM DETRINIS this is a production that is high energy, very high laugh-to-moment ratio (according to our team of analysts and statisticians) and hiiiiighly recommended.
🧪 TUESDAY, 7:30PM: The Funny or Die Lab is a comedy variety show featuring talent that FUNNY OR DIE is very excited about, and we are too because FOD has great taste. This week’s folks include:

And as always, he’ll be joined by RUSTY STEELE and THE STEELE WHEELS.
SUNDAY, 7:30PM: PAT REGAN is BACK and he’s… still wonderful! 🤷♂️ Maybe you know him from his amazing podcast, “SEEK TREATMENT.” Maybe you love him because he’s been writing for HACKS (on his 3rd season!), maybe you love him because you have great taste. All of these are good reasons.
MONDAY April 10th, 7:30PM: Messy White Gays is a new play by a classic darling, the fabulous DREW DROEGE. We’re SO excited for this reading! Apparently so was everyone because this is SOLD OUT.
