Happy Monday, big fun Darlings!
Hope this finds ya flappin’ and flarpin’ and freakin’ to yer hearts content. Consider our little freak hearts content just knowing some of you read this 🥹. We learned something last night that’s absolutely blown our minds and we’re ready to share it with you. We are being vulnerable sharing this, because we realize this is something that maybe almost everyone already knows!? But we came to it late in life and are now sharing this epiphany for us, which may be a re-piphany™ for you. We CELEBRATE re-piphanies™ at Dynasty, because… why not?! One of our beloved staff members (looking at you, Manager Chris) recently learned this somewhere and gave the gift of knowledge to us. So, you know those “HONK IF YOU’RE….” bumper stickers? Those were not created to get people to honk! They were created by frequent honkees to sort of neg the honker! Very middle-school boy mentality, but it’s also… psychologically thrilling. We always thought those were invitations for a cacophony of sound to celebrate some mutual love/distaste. But instead it’s like, “my driving is reliably sucky but if you call me out with your horn, YOU’RE THE FOOL!” Just something to process, or if you’ve already processed this (or just simply always known this and therefore never needed any processing time) something for you to find us a lil’ dumber with. We had a great weekend at the theater, including but not limited to last night’s sold out Character Showcase! It was a showcase for an exciting show that you definitely know, and we can’t say anything more than that. But, because we’re rule breakers, we WILL say… it was a good show and there are so many talented wild and wondrous weirdos out there, we hope big wonderful things come their way soon. Honk if you’re dumb!

SEPTEMBER 4TH MONDAY, 7:30PM: Pound House: Season 4 Premiere. It’s been seven years since Pound House Season 3 came out (Pound House is a web series from DJ DOUGGPOUND and BRENT WEINBACH which debuted in 2012), and now, finally, it’s time for Season 4. Doug and Brent present the Pound House Season 4 Premiere with live stand-up sets from various people involved in the new season as well as a screening of the first two episodes of the season.
