We hope your long weekend was full of relaxation and rejuvenation and reconnecting to the VIBES you wanna bring into this year. We had a nice one our ding-dang-selves, and we loooooved RAMY YOUSSEF’S two *SOLD OUT!* shows on Saturday. Ramy is an expert storyteller, holding onto threads long after the audience forgets they’re there, tying everything together so causally and delightfully. If you weren’t there, all we can say is “Poor Thing”(s). Also, you KNOW we don’t kiss and tell, but we didn’t kiss him so we can tell… we had a DAFOE in DAHOUSE. Willem? We just met ‘im! WOW.
Thus far, our January has really been a PLANuary. We’ve been laying stones for the future, talkin’ strategy, and deciding which of our wild hares to chase first. Planning feels… unflirty. Anyone else? We’re so excited to get back into creative play mode, but also glad we’re getting a framework in place that will make our play more focused n’ fruitful (that’s also the name of a medicated cereal for ADHD folks we want to roll out this year). Anywayyyy, this is just a tip of the hat to anyone else going through the slightly trudgey ground, we see you and YOU’LL BE GLAD YOU DID THIS! Next month is gonna be FebDOary, and these lil’ plans will start to take root and grow. This likely didn’t resonate with anyone, but if it DID and if you’ve got a big plan or a goal for the year, share it! Hunt had been raised by a single mom with whom he had a fraught relationship, with only one avenue of shared agreement: a mutual love, fostered by the mom, of the Beatles. Beatles music had been present at the most important moments of his life, from his very first childhood memory to the birth of his son. Keenly aware that McCartney has spent every day, for decades, having people’s emotional connections to his music unloaded on him, Hunt held his tongue. In this hilarious and moving solo show, Hunt finally gets to let it out and tells us all the things he couldn’t tell Paul McCartney.

Pat Regan is a stand-up comedian and writer based in New York City, of all places. Pat has performed at venues and festivals across the US, and Europe. Pat has been featured in publications such as NEW YORK TIMES, THE NEW YORKER, OUT, VF, VARIETY, VULTURE, and PAPER MAGAZINE, to name a few. He was named one of Vulture’s 2022 Comics to know, and his fan- favorite podcast, “SEEK TREATMENT” has topped their list of best podcasts on more than one occasion. Pat is in his third season writing for the Emmy award winning HBO Max series, HACKS, and has several TV and feature projects in development.
