Darlings,
We write you on this, the last week of March, with hearts full of hopes n’ pockets full o’ corn. Spring has offish sprung, and we have a full worm moon tonight 🪱 (maybe it started around 3 am but we’re told WORM MOON ENERGY extends into the day.) And you know what? Let’s take a minute to think about worms. A lot of folks might think “yuck” or “gross” but worms are actually fantastically helpful for gardens, harmless, and can’t have ugly faces since they don’t (traditionally speaking at least) even HAVE a face. Also for the #mathheads out there, cutting a worm in half does not make two worms, it makes one dead worm. So maybe tonight, with that WORM MOON ENERGY, we can re-evaluate things we’ve previously labeled as gross, and find their positive qualities. And when you find those good qualities don’t try to exploit them (going back to the 2 severed halves of a worm is one whole corpse situation) appreciate it in its totality. So tonight’s FULL MOON CHALLENGE is this: Ask yourself “What’s MY worm and how can I love it and appreciate it for what it is instead of being disgusted by it?” If you want to get real witchy about it, you can scrape the name of your “worm” into a candle and burn it by the light of the moon. Corey pokes fun at his years of addiction while still proving he’s just as crazy in sobriety which makes this show a wild ride that you’ll never want to get off.

MANO AGAPION, JON GABRUS, and BETSY SODARO join forces with the ‘boys (MIKE MITCHELL and NICK WIGER) to determine which Taco Bell item will reign supreme and take home the Dave Thomas Cup!

3/29, FRIDAY, 7:30PM: The Fast and the Furious: A Musical Parody
After a sold out pre-pandemic run LA’s boldest baldest musical is back with a vengeance and a revamped second act. New songs! New dances! Same dumb premise! Come watch your favorite car-driving gang members battle their greatest foe yet– singing and dancing at the same time.
In this unauthorized parody that is in no way connected to the very profitable Universal property, Dominic Toretto and his team (The Rock, Tyrese, Michelle Rodriguez, and Ludacris) do what they do best: commit crimes. With all original music and a new twist on the story, this part parody/part love-letter to THE BEST MOVIE FRANCHISE EVER is for both fans of the series and people who’ve never heard Vin Diesel say “family.”
If you want to watch one of the films to prepare, we suggest ALL OF THEM *but actually the 8th movie, The Fate of the Furious.
🏾 3/30, SATURDAY, 7:30 & 10:00PM: PHOEBE ROBINSON: Live Special Taping! Phoebe Robinson is a standup comedian, best-selling author, producer, actress, and publisher. She is the author of the essay collections “You Can’t Touch My Hair,” “Everything’s Trash, But It’s Okay,” and “Please Don’t Sit on My Bed in Your Outside Clothes,” and, in 2020, she launched her own imprint, Tiny Reparations Books. Robinson is also the co-creator and co-star of the podcast “2 Dope Queens” and HBO series of the same name. Other onscreen work includes the TV adaptation of “Everything’s Trash” and the standup special “Sorry, Harriet Tubman,” both of which are produced by her company, Tiny Reparations.
