Job Description: “Poptender” is the Dynasty way of saying “general theater staff” but there’s nothing general about our team of darlings. Running our box office, slangin’ our snacks n’ souvenirs, welcoming and ushering our audience, and helping out backstage are just a few of the jobs required of our well-rounded nightly staff who make our events flow seamlessly. If you genuinely love the smell of our renowned DynaPop! (and think sweeping it up would be a thrill), and want to be a part of a fun team of creative folks that love the excitement of puttin’ on a show, you could be the perfect candidate!
Job related questions you should ask yourself: Am I a genuinely nice person? Do I understand clear boundaries? Do I have hustle? Would, say, a sports coach, or previous employer also say I have hustle? (It’s ok if you are very bad at sports, it’s not an agility thing. It’s a hustle-thang!) Does the idea that Dynasty genuinely wants to over-deliver on an enchanting experience for everyone that walks through their doors make me want to cry a little bit because I am just not used to that kind of genuine desire for connection and vulnerability and… softness in what feels like an ever-hardening dystopian world? Do I like comedy?
