Dynasty Dygest: March 10th

*|MC:SUBJECT|*

Ohhhh darlings-

Let’s come right out and say it: this is a weiiiiird flarpin’ chapter we’re all trucking through. How are you coping with the crazed paranoia sweeping this little ol’ planet? If you’re taking the time to read/skim this newsie, first of all, “hey thanks!” Second of all, you’re doing a great job! We’re glad you’re still doing normal The Grand Sanitizerstuff because there are a great deal of things that are still normal. In fact, take a moment to look around you and realize how okay and functional (or at least normally dysfunctional)  things still are. <<Take a few deep breaths.>> You got this! We got this! We love you! We truly hope you are all  safe, healthy, and making choices that allow you to feel secure while still enjoying your life. Here at the theater, we’re well aware of the intense vibrations of the time, and we’re taking extra care regarding all cleaning protocol (which, to be clear, has always been a very high priority here because we want aim to enchant, and enchantment needs to SPARKLE baby!) and also have created a NEW position (because sooooomeone has to bolster this economy!) entitled Grand Sanitizer, who walks the line in Safety Dress dispensing hand sanitizer to the audience before they enter the building. In short, we’re taking this very seriously but we remain committed to “the art of the experience.” (Also the title of an e-book we’re working on. The “e” is a triple threat in this case: it stands for “enchantment, experience, and electronic. PRETTY FLARPIN’ COOL, RIGHT?!)

WHAT ELSE?

Well,  Mr. SANDMAN brought us a dream in the form of shows (honestly, our #1 top favorite dreamform™). Adam Sandler lives up to his hype, and his performances were a reminder of why #Sandlergate  happened in the first place; he’s so damn good at what he does that a person would rightfully be ENRAGED to miss an opportunity to see him. Sunday night ROB SCHNEIDER was a surprise guest to the delight of everyone. The show was amazing and chock full of new material and songs…. HOW  DOES  HE DO IT?!

We’ve got a great week at the theater (see below for show listings, ticket links, et cetera) but right now we’d love to take a moment to give a little shout out to our little show baby, Dynasty Tonight. Dynasty Tonight!! is a show we produce with a line-up we hand pick, and ooooh the crops are good this time of year! We’ve got AARON CHEN, MATHEW BROUSSARD, JOEL KIM BOOSTER, JON DALY and more TBA! Heyyy line-up, you cute! So come on down to Dynasty and let us wipe your cares away with laughter and Lysol™. Share a human experience, because ain’t that what bein’ a human is all about?

In other news, we, VanJam (VANessa and JAMie), have officially started production on our  podcast (i.e. microphones are plugged in! We have talked into them!) and we are thrilled. We can’t wait to share The Dynasty Typecast with you and invite you even further into the magical, mystical, cornfueled world of enchantertainment™. Launch date to be announced soon. In the meantime, you may marvel at the podcast graphic design by our in-house graphic design marvel maker, Daniel Fazio

We sure do love you lots!

Jamie & Vanessa
