We've reached the half way point of 🦆❄️ DUCKCEMBER ❄️🦆 and whoo-whee has it already been real ducky, at least 'round these parts! For example, did you notice that we are so unhinged that we added snowflakes to the emoji-template we use for 🦆❄️ DUCKCEMBER ❄️🦆in this weekly missive?? It's like, flarp it, right, let's really evoke the weather of the 🦆❄️ DUCKCEMBER ❄️🦆 season any chance we get! Other venues would probably keep their 🦆❄️ DUCKCEMBER ❄️🦆 messaging pretty basic, but we want you to feel things when you read our newsies. Now THAT'S The Dynasty Difference!™️ 😉
Speaking of snow flakes, the JAM part of the duo known as VanJam at the helm of Dynasty Typewriter's leadership team found himself in a magical realm of 🦪 ✨ 😍 for the first part of last week, and then hightailed it to Brooklyn, New York, where Dynasty was producing a livestream for Guster's Holiday Hits & Bits show at a very enchanting venue called The Sultan Room! DT Head of Production Sam was leading the charge, putting together a crack crew to deliver a beautiful broadcast including music from Guster, and comedy from darlings including Tom Papa, Tina Friml, Connor Ratliff, Holly Laurent, and Greg Hess (who also directed)! It was such a fun show and expanded our ability to bring our broadcast studio capabilities anywhere on the planet!
Meanwhile, back at home, the VAN part of the duo known as VanJam at the helm of Dynasty Typewriter's leadership team remained in LA, putting together the final arrangements for our Friday night Dynasty core-team holiday party which took the form of a SEANCE! A 🔮medium was procured, 🕯️candles were lit, 🥢delicious food was served, 🍹a cocktail called a CORPSE REVIVER was reanimated, and the team had what could only be described as a night of feral frolicking. The medium confirmed that yes there are absolutely ghosts here amongst us, Shirley Temple was indeed at the theater a long time ago (and yelled at a lot?!), validated our obsession with 🐀 rats and 🦇bats, evoked a lot of laughs and tears, told us that we love differently, and that ultimately there really is no business like show business. Also there was a lot of chasing. What a life! We're so thankful for our team here that works so hard to make this place special and enchanting and deliver that sweet... Dynasty Difference!™️ 😉

Actor and comedian LAMORNE MORRIS is joined by writer/director KYLE SHEVRIN and a rotating cast of celebrity guests to discuss life, relationships, and most importantly, what they did last night.
LAMORNE MORRIS is best known for playing fan-favorite ‘Winston’ on Fox’s popular, long-running comedy New Girl. Following New Girl, LAMORNE played the titular lead in the hybrid live-action/animated Hulu series Woke, inspired by the life and art of cartoonist Keith Knight, UNSTABLE for Netflix, and the 5th installment of FX’s Fargo for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award. His additional past projects include films Game Night, Barbershop 3: The Next Cut, Bloodshot, Sandy Wexler and Desperados. He can be seen in the feature film SNL 1975 in which he portrays the legendary Garrett Morris and most recently began production on Amazon’s Marvel series Spider-Noir with Nicolas Cage.
KYLE SHEVRIN is a writer, director & comedian. Most notably, he created and executive produced the popular scripted podcast UnWanted, starring Billy Magnussen and LAMORNE MORRIS. Additional works include Audible’s Unleash For Love, Nike’s Mad + Madder & Put You On, and has worked in the commercial space with brands including Gillette and Uninterrupted.
