Happy October Eve! That means Ye Olde Piggy Day is tomorrow! Don't forget: put your bathing suits by the front door tonight for "thee celebrated" PigMan to steal at midnight. (He always returns them by summer :) ) As lore tells us, if you’ve been good he’ll plant a squash seed in your yard! If you’ve been bad… expect to find a damp clotted hair wad where you want it least. 😞. But either way, Fall is NOTHING without these proud, symbolic traditions, and we're happy to remind you how important it is to observe them. #observingsymbolictraditions
Over here at DTHQ we’ve been up to our usual antics: streamin’, dreamin’, schemin', and creamin’. Get your head out the gutters, cream guzzlers! When we say “creamin’” we’re referring to sugar and butter for our fall tables of sweets n’ treats. 😋 Jamie’s whipping up a 17 tier pumpkin cake in the shape of a magic wand! 🪄 Why is he baking a cake in that shape? It’s an easy shape! Meanwhile, Van’s working on a cinnamon coffee cake in the shape of “circle.” Why did she choose that shape? To give Jamie a boost about his shape choice :) Baking friends are the BEST friends.

😱 TUESDAY, 10/1, 7:30PM: The Benson Movie Interruption: Your Choice BRING A SCARY MOVIE! The absolutely delightful movie-watching experience in which DOUG BENSON invites some of his comedy friends to sit in the front row of the theater with mics, cracking wise during a screening of a movie that YOU choose. That’s right, audience members are encouraged to bring a dvd/blu ray of a film they would like to see ripped apart (lovingly) and a vote will be held to determine which one we watch.
